OETZ TROPHY - Extreme kayak race 2021 in Ötztal
The world elite of extreme kayaking returns to the Ötztal!
The Wellerbrücke, the steep and imposing section of the mighty glacier-fed Ötztaler Ache in Tyrol, will finally host an extreme kayak race again in 2021. At the first edition of the OETZ TROPHY - Extreme Kayak Championships from October 8-10, a total of 130 athletes from all over the world will compete for the coveted title.
Thanks to the alliance between Source To Sea GmbH as the organizer and TVB Ötztal as the central local partner, one of the most important whitewater races in the world will now take place in Ötztal every year.
The OETZ TROPHY is a partner of the Association for Whitewater Professionals (AWP) and is proud that the results of the race will be included in the official world rankings. Registration for the race will be open from April 03, 2021.
