Media Contest - Show us your best shots!

Do you love taking photos or do you enjoy creating reels? Then the Media Contest at this year's Ötztal Kayak Festival is just the thing for you! For the first time, we are looking for the most creative photos and videos about whitewater sports - with great prizes in several categories.

Conditions of participation

Period: All images must be taken between September 17 and 20, 2025.
Location: Shot exclusively in Ötztal.
Theme: Clearly related to whitewater kayaking. However, other sports are welcome, for example as part of the reel - there are no limits to your creativity!
Submission deadline: Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the latest by uploading to our server

Deadline: Registration until September 19, 2025 via our registration form.

After successful registration, you will receive access data and upload links for your submission.

Categories & prize money

📷 Photo category (portrait and landscape format)

  1. 2nd place: 300 € | 2nd place: 200 € | 3rd place: 100 €

🎥 Video category - Reel (portrait format)

  1. 2nd place: 500 € | 2nd place: 300 € | 3rd place: 200 €

  • All festival visitors can vote via APP on Saturday between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm to select the best photos and videos.
