The second edition of the Ötztal Kayak Festival will take place in Oetz from September 17 - 21, 2025. In addition to the Oetz Kayak Cross on the slalom course (WW III - WW IV), there will be equipment testing opportunities, workshops, parties and a media contest. The area around the Kayak Base Oetz at the entrance to the Untere Ötztaler Ache will serve as the festival site.
There will be a chill-out zone around the base with seating and music. There you can hang out, find out about the program, meet up and make plans together.
During the event, the Hochoetz cable car parking lot - which unfortunately now charges a fee - is available. This is the quickest way to get to the Wellerbrücke slalom and race course.
