Rivers Day Photo Contest

One of the events of the Rivers Day on Sunday following the OETZ Trophy will be a photo contest. Show us how beautiful the Ötztaler Ache is! The theme of the photo contest is “Living River” – so kayakers should not be the main focus for once! Use the time in the Ötz valley to capture the beauty of the Ötztaler Ache and its landscape – take pictures of the river, the banks, plants and mosses, your favorite beetle or your favorite eddy. Bring the photos to the Free Rivers Fund at the Race Base on Rivers Day, Sunday October 10 by 2:00PM, or email them to mail@freerivers.org. You can win a weekend kayaking course in Tyrol with Source to Sea – the course level is freely selectable, so it doesn’t matter if you’ve never been in a kayak before or if you want to explore the Wellerbrücke! Our jury of professional photographers will choose the winning picture on Sunday afternoon. We are looking forward to your photos and new perspectives on the Ötztaler Ache!
