Rivers Day

Rivers Day 2023 is all about the Ötztaler Ache.

It is under threat.

The association WET - Wildwasser erhalten Tirol informs about the expansion plans of the Kaunertal power plant, which threaten the Ötztaler Ache. Almost all of its water is to be diverted into the Gepatsch reservoir, leaving only a trickle in the riverbed for most of the year. Just drop by the WET stand on Friday or Saturday to find out more!
